Leather Stitching Workshop
Leather and various hides were a common material until replaced by plastics. Stitching skills were commonly employed by 19th-century Americans for all manner of repairs. In this class you’ll get an introduction of working leather as you stitch your way to completing a small snip case. At the conclusion of the class, your 4-inch hand-forged snip AND your newfound skills will go home with you. All participants MUST be age 18+.
