Make Your Own Apple iBook

This workshop will provide a tour of a media-rich iBook, and will then take the participants through the steps necessary to make their own iBook. This workshop is a walkthrough of the tools necessary for constructing an iBook, not the process for writing a book and promoting a book (although a brief tour of publishing in the iTunes Bookstore will be given).
Please note: Participants will need a MacBook loaded with the iBooks Author (free!) software, and are encouraged to bring their own media (movies, pictures, audio, etc.), although media samples will be provided.
About the teacher:
Dave Ghidiu has been working in education for thirteen years, most recently for the State University of New York. He helps authors convert their manuscripts to eBooks, iBooks, and Kindle formats.
