Mindful MAGiC: Sonic Yoga
Begin your morning with a restorative experience that blends mindful movement and immersive sound for a powerful journey inward. Set in the serene surroundings of the Fountain Court, this special session features yoga and meditation led by Emily Awad, founder of Mudita Wellness, Yoga Alliance Certified Yoga School, and Moss & Moon Wellness. An experienced ERYT-500 yoga teacher, and holistic practitioner, Emily brings a compassionate, non-judgmental approach to healing that nurtures the mind, body, and spirit. The experience is accompanied by an immersive live soundscape from Harold Taddy (The Gong Situation).
What You Can Bring
- Yoga mat, bolsters, and layers for comfort
- Cozy socks
- A water bottle with a secure, leak-proof lid (no straws)
Important Arrival Details
- Doors open at 9:00 am
- Check-in at the Admissions Desk no later than 9:15 am to get situated
- Please arrive on time to preserve the tranquil nature of the session
The session lasts 9:30–10:30 am, followed by a 15-minute courtesy window to ease your transition into the day. Museum admission begins at 11:00 am when the galleries open to the public.
