Monroe County Fair

The Monroe County Fair is a family fair with the emphasis on agriculture, horticulture and husbandry. Enjoy great food including Chicken Barbeque and Beef Barbeque. There will be Ice Cream, Fried Dough and much more. Live music under the tent featuring The Jimmy Jam band on Saturday, 3-6 followed by the Cross-Eyed Cats Band, 6-9 and Green Rose Acoustic Sunday Noon-3. There will also be Horse Shows, a Pet show and Garden Tractor pull on Sunday!

After several years without a permanent home, The Monroe County Fair has moved to the Town of Rush. This beautiful country location is convenent to all points of Monroe County and the surrounding area. In addition, there’s plenty of room to grow. As a bonus, it’s right in the neighborhood with the NY Museum of Transportation and The Rochester & Genesee Valley Railroad Museum.

Each year at the Monroe County Fair, the CCE-Monroe 4-H team provides a sampling of activities a youth might experience in 4-H. A 4-H Educator will be on-site to answer questions about our program and provide an engaging activity for youth to explore. Club and member projects will also be showcased. In addition, our Alpaca club will provide an animal show, our K-9 Dog Club will provide an obedience demonstration (Saturday), and club members will have rabbits available for youth to pet.*Times, dates, and prices of any activity posted to our calendars are subject to change.
