The New York Power Authority’s Niagara Power Vista provides an exciting, hands-on interactive adventure, designed for all ages. It is the visitors center of the Niagara Power Project — New York State’s largest electricity producer — creating clean, renewable electricity from water. The Niagara Power Vista offers an observation deck with breathtaking views.
Watch the “war of the currents” between Thomas Edison and Nikola Tesla. Hold on tight as you take a virtual ride in our 4D theatre, by dropping into the river on your hydropower journey. Want a hair-raising experience? Touch the Van de Graaff machine to get some jolts without the volts.
The Niagara Power Vista hosts group visits, free guided & self-guided tours & events. Host a birthday party or reunion. The community room & outdoor patio are ideal places for your bag, catered or picnic lunch.
