Poetry in the Pines

Poetry in the Pines is an outdoor reading and discussion group held in the pine forest of the Cummings Nature Center in Naples, NY.

It is a reading group for readers without the time to read: participants are invited to bring a poem, a song, an excerpt of an essay, etc (no longer than one page!) to read aloud with the group and discuss, related to the themes of nature, agriculture, conservation, or eco-consciousness. The event will begin with a wine tasting by Living Roots urban winery and a brief viticulture talk to orient readers to the local landscape by LR co-owner Sebastian Hardy.
