POISE! An Empowering Class for Girls

Regardless of specific interest or participation in theatre, radio, film and television, speech and debate teams, spelling bees, science fairs, or fashion shows, all girls need to feel confident when presenting themselves in classroom, social, and formal situations. This 4-day workshop affords girls the opportunity to develop communication, presentation, and leadership skills while building confidence in their voices, bodies, intellect, and creativity. Girls learn how to organize ideas into informative, entertaining presentations filled with grace, polish, and ... poise!
Each session, serving a maximum of 6 girls, culminates in an afternoon tea at a Rochester-area establishment where girls will offer presentations to an audience of friends and family. This salon-style workshop is instructed at Cara's home studio in the Park Avenue area of downtown Rochester.
