Positive Parenting Strategies

Do you want to enjoy your time with your child(ren) without feeling overwhelmed and stressed? Do you struggle to get cooperation from your child(ren)? Do you want to learn alternatives to punishment and discipline? Do you want your child(ren) to learn independent skills? Learn how you can take a more positive approach to parenting from a mom and therapist who has “seen it all.”
This class will provide an overview of child development and parenting strategies while exploring tools and techniques your family can start using right away. You’ll learn how to:
· Help your child(ren) express their emotions
· Simplify communication between generations
· Cope with anger and frustration
· Build strength-based, positive behavior strategies
· Make visual tools, such as reward charts, family rules, etc.
Questions are welcome, and there will be time for discussion following the presentation.
