RAMS Model Air Show and Open House - 2023

For many years the Rochester Aero modeling Society has held an open house to share the interesting hobby of airplane and helicopter flying with the Monroe and Wayne County communities. We have activities for kids through adults including children’s glider building and flying (and coloring), opportunities to fly a model plane, and airplane and helicopter demonstrations to music. One of the competitions is planned to be a high-speed contest. Another is a contest has many planes in the air trying to cut a long streamer from another plane. The diving and zipping around is really fun to watch!
Pilots from our region will be bringing their planes and helicopters to participate and you will be amazed at the beauty and complexity of these interesting machines
On both Saturday and Sunday for lunch we will have burgers and dogs. From 10-3 drinks and ice creams will be available. There is no charge for admission or parking. Proceeds from this open house will be donated to the Macedon Town Ambulance.
