Saturday Night Telescope Viewing
*The event has already taken place on this date: Sat, 10/29/2022
Join us on select Saturdays to enjoy free telescope viewings (dependent on clear skies and good weather). Climb 60 steps to the top of the tower at the back of the Planetarium on selected Saturday nights to view planets and the moon (depending on date) through telescopes operated by knowledgeable volunteers from our local astronomy club, the Astronomy Section of the Rochester Academy of Science (AS-RAS).
Please help us keep this calendar up to date! If this activity is sold out, canceled, or otherwise needs alteration, email mindy@kidsoutandabout.com so we can update it immediately. If you have a question about the activity itself, please contact the organization administrator listed below.
To confirm that the telescope is open, you can phone the Planetarium box office after 7pm at 585.271.4320 ext. 411, or check the astronomy club’s Facebook page.
