Our annual Halloween tradition is back - bigger and wilder than ever!
This year, Spooktacular takes over two weekends of spooky fun with Pumpkin Safari and Buggie Boogie Weekend. Come in costume, explore the zoo, and enjoy a family-friendly Halloween experience like never before.

Buggie Boogie Weekend!
October 17 & 18
New this year, the Buggie Boogie Band brings high energy songs and dance breaks the whole family will love. The fun continues with the Wild Skills Showdown, where kids can show off their loudest roars and highest jumps! Plus, meet some of the zoo’s creepiest, crawliest critters up close for a weekend full of wild, family-friendly fun.
Pumpkin Safari Weekend!
October 25 & 26
Explore a pumpkin-packed adventure! Watch a pumpkin carving demonstration, test your aim with a pumpkin toss, and see how our animal friends enjoy pumpkin-themed enrichment. A perfect mix of spooky fun and wild excitement for the whole family!
