Trolleys at Twilight

Enjoy trolley rides, calliope music and refreshing ice cream at an old time "Trolley park" as the sun sets over scenic rural countryside..

A hundred years ago, every city boasted a streetcar system that would easily transport you out of the sweltering heat to the cool breezes of a local amusement park. Bring back the spirit of those days with a visit to the New York Museum of Transportation. Enjoy an authentic vintage trolley ride through the pastoral countryside at dusk. Upon your return, listen to the calliope play favorite old tunes, enjoy some ice cream, and tour the museum's many exhibits including three model railroads. NOTE: This event starts at 4:00 p.m. and runs until dusk.
