On April 21st 1945, Tuskegee Airman Leland "Sticky" Pennington took off on a flight in his P-51 Mustang 'Lucky Gal'. World War II was drawing to a close but his services as a bomber escort pilot were still sorely needed. En route to the mission, the Rochester NY pilot went missing in action, and he has never been found. His story. however, is still flying.
