The warblers are beginning to reach their summer resting habitat here at the Montezuma Wetlands Complex! Join a Montezuma Audubon Center educator for a brief presentation on warbler migration this time of year and a snapshot of all the different species that call the Complex home for the summer. Common Yellowthroat Warbler, Yellow-rumped Warbler, and Cerulean Warbler are just a few we will highlight and hope to see!
With our new warbler knowledge, we will head out for a 1-mile leisure birding walk on our forest and grassland trails. The trail is primarily flat, but there may be some uneven footing and mud. Wear sturdy, comfortable shoes, and don't forget to bring your camera!
We will provide binoculars and field guides for the duration of the program.
