Learn 19th-century fiber dyeing methods! During this class, participants will learn the 19th-century methods of dyeing wool. Located at the Kieffer House in our Historic Village and led by a costumed instructor, participants will make a variety of colored dyes. All will leave the class with one skein of dyed wool yarn, as well as a punch card of samples from the variety of colors that they create. Colors differ with each class and depend on the weather and materials available.
