A community theatre organization committed to excellence in theatrical productions. A non-profit corporation since 1968, remains dedicated to a three-fold purpose: to provide an opportunity for adults in the community to participate in amateur musical theater, to provide entertainment for the local community and to award scholarships to Pittsford and other area high school students wishing to pursue studies in theater/creative arts.

The Kanack School of Musical Artistry, founded in 1995 by Alice Kanack, is a thriving hub for creativity and musical excellence. Inspired by her collaboration with Dr. Shinichi Suzuki, Alice developed the Creative Ability Development Method (CAD), teaching students to improvise and unlock their creative potential. Serving over 400 students with a team of 20 educators, the school offers private lessons in violin, viola, cello, guitar, piano, and voice, alongside free group classes in improvisation, orchestras, and more. With summer camps, concerts, guest artists, and a vibrant community, the Kanack School nurtures musicians of all ages to achieve artistry and joy through music.

OFC Creations (Opportunities For Creativity) continues to enhance the arts throughout the Rochester area for all ages. Through shows, unique events, and educational classes - OFC is committed to giving back to our next generation. In summer 2020, OFC opened a brand new theatre in Brighton, the OFC Creations Theatre Center. The new OFC Creations Theatre Center (3450 Winton Pl, Rochester, NY 14623), opened in July 2020, is a multi-purpose arts center focused on youth theater education and performances, mounting professional plays and musicals, hosting community events, presenting out-of-town entertainers, and providing much-needed performance space to local arts groups. The center offers classes in acting, singing, and dancing; school field trips and tours; community events; and theater camps during summer and school. OFC runs ROC Summer Theatre Experience: The largest theatre summer camp program in upstate NY.
