Corning Museum of Glass

Offering a unique opportunity to explore glass from all angles, the Corning Museum of Glass features the stunning Contemporary Art + Design Wing, live hot glassmaking demos, Make Your Own Glass experiences, hands-on glass technology exhibits, and the world’s largest collection of contemporary and historical glass. Open daily, Kids and teens, 17 and under are free. Extended Summer hours, open until 8 pm from Memorial Day to Labor Day. Advance reservations are recommended for Make Your Own Glass projects. New York Museum of Transportation

The New York Museum of Transportation is unique among Western New York's museums: In addition to providing train rides on the only electric trolley ride in New York State, we have a large model railroad for model enthusiasts young and old. This is a hands-on museum full of highway and horse-drawn vehicles, photos, exhibits, gallery, gift shop. Open Sundays only, and featuring monthly special events.
