REAL TRAINS, REAL FUN! The Rochester & Genesee Valley Railroad museum is located just 20 minutes from downtown Rochester, and is home to the largest collection of historic trains in New York State! Your visit begins at our restored 1909 Erie Railroad train station where you'll pick up your tickets. Enjoy real vintage train rides, tour our museum grounds and exhibits, and explore Rochester's rich railroading heritage. The museum is open for fun special events April through December.
