Bach to Rock Penfield is a locally owned music school in Penfield, NY, offering lessons for all ages and skill levels in the Rochester area. We provide private and virtual lessons for all instruments, early childhood classes, band and glee club opportunities, music camps, DJ lessons, music production courses, and MUSE—a program for aspiring singer-songwriters. We also offer on-site homeschooling programs, birthday parties, and more!

Western New York's incredible annual one-day children's book festival is held in November each year. This festival attracts prominent children's authors from around the US.

The Kanack School of Musical Artistry, founded in 1995 by Alice Kanack, is a thriving hub for creativity and musical excellence. Inspired by her collaboration with Dr. Shinichi Suzuki, Alice developed the Creative Ability Development Method (CAD), teaching students to improvise and unlock their creative potential. Serving over 400 students with a team of 20 educators, the school offers private lessons in violin, viola, cello, guitar, piano, voice, mandolin, banjo, ukelele, and drums, alongside free group classes in improvisation, orchestras, and more. With summer camps, concerts, guest artists, and a vibrant community, the Kanack School nurtures musicians of all ages to achieve artistry and joy through music.

The JCC is the place for total wellness and provides sports and fitness programs, wellness services, early childhood education, before & after school care, summer camps, Jewish life, and adult learning programs. The JCC is open and welcoming to ALL in the community.

We are the longest standing, most experienced provider of speech, language, and hearing services in Monroe County. We are a nonprofit organization that works with both children and adults in hearing loss and prevention. Rochester Hearing & Speech Center is a member of the Al Sigl Community of Agencies.
