American Seekers Academy (ASA) provides a comprehensive, Classical education-inspired curriculum for homeschooled students in grades K–12, delivered through a drop-off co-op model in Rochester, NY. Macaronis (Pre-K)
Our Macaronis program introduces young learners to foundational skills through Montessori-inspired, hands-on activities. Classes focus on:
- Numbers & Counting: Recognizing numbers, counting objects, and exploring basic addition with counters and puzzles.
- Literacy & Phonics: Storytime, letter recognition, and phonics games using cards and interactive activities.
- Colors & Shapes: Sorting, patterning, and identifying colors and shapes with beads, blocks, and art projects.
- Financial Literacy: Simple coin recognition and sorting to introduce money concepts.
- History & Geography: Exploring family roles and community places through stories, drawings, and simple maps.

The Yankee Doodle program, detailed in our 10 Week Literacy Program, uses the Wilson Reading System and Orton-Gillingham approach to build strong literacy foundations. Classes include:
- Literacy: Phonemic awareness, letter-sound correspondence, and initial reading with decodable texts, plus vowel practice through kinesthetic games.
- Numbers: Counting Nature Walks where students collect items (e.g., 3 leaves) to practice counting and responsibility.
- Financial Literacy: Introduction to coin values using play money.
- History: Learning American symbols through pictures and coloring activities.
- Geography: Drawing neighborhood maps to understand spatial concepts.

Program Features
All ASA classes are held three days a week (Monday, Wednesday, Friday) in 10-week sessions, with no breaks to maintain momentum. Our curriculum sources, including Hillsdale College, IEW, Robert Woodson Institute, PragerU Kids, and Tuttle Twins, are vetted for quality and alignment with our pro-liberty, fact-based philosophy.
