Adult Tour: Mantle Convection and Natural Disasters

Heat flow within the Earth’s mantle causes movement of the Earth’s crust which creates geological features and natural disasters. Examine patterns of volcanoes, hotspots and earthquakes. Audiences participating in this program will be engaged with Science on a Sphere, a three dimensional data visualization tool.

General admission: $21 for adults; $20 for seniors and college students with ID; $3 for RMSC members.
Group rate: $11 per person (group of more than six visitors).
No children’s tickets are sold for these tours.
Tours are 50-60 minutes long.
