An Artists’ Affair: Art Off the Walls is a lively, delightful, and fast-paced gala. The evening begins with cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, and a preview of the hundreds of artworks that were kindly donated to this event in support. Guests enjoy a sit down dinner, lively cash call, and thrilling live auction of Isaac Julien’s J. P. Ball’s Photographic Studio, Douglass/Apparatus, from Lessons of the Hour—Frederick Douglass. Alongside coffee and dessert is the grand finale, “Art Off the Walls”, where attendees are called at random to take home a new-to-them work of art.
