A series of themed, behind the scenes tours to help you get a glimpse at our collections vaults.

Tour Locations: Expedition Earth, Zoology Vault
Adventure behind the exhibits at the RMSC into our zoology vault and discover the world of museum taxidermy. Explore how taxidermists bring these animals back to “life” and how the museum cares for and displays them. Get up close with specimens of extinct species from the past including the passenger pigeon, Carolina parakeet, American mastodon, and more!
Please note these tours are 18+ due to subject matter. Content is for mature audiences. Tours will start promptly at 6pm and depart from the lobby.
