Blacksmithing Workshop: Tapers

Project: Tapers - Learn the fundamentals of hammer control and drawing out stock. Tapering is simply a gradual reduction in cross section toward a set point in the material. It is the primary skill of a blacksmith and a bladesmith.
Our experienced instructors will use a combination of lecture, demonstration, and hands-on instruction at the forge to enhance your learning experience. These classes are great for beginners and experienced smithers!
All safety equipment and smithing materials are included in the course price. Great for beginners and experienced tradesmen!
Note: Breakfast snacks and lunch will be provided. Please contact the Arc + Flame Center at least 72-hours prior to the event regarding any food allergies or restrictions.
