Cyanotype T-Shirts! with Kylie Newcomer (@rodeo_clown2.0) on Tuesday, June 13 - 20 from 6:30 - 8:30pm
Make a cyanotype tshirt!
In this one-day workshop students will learn how to print their own image or design onto a t-shirt, using the cyanotype process! Also known as sun prints or blue prints, cyanotypes produce a beautiful, rich blue monochromatic print. Students will be taught how to make digital negatives of their own images, how to properly apply the cyanotype chemistry to their shirt, and how to expose their contact printed shirt. No prior darkroom experience necessary!
$10 material fee included. Students must bring at least one white cotton t-shirt. Students are encouraged to bring extra shirts in the event that there is time to make more! Light colors are highly recommended. Students are encouraged to bring several digital files to choose (one) from.
Alert: bring digital files you can access at a classroom computer
