Does the world sometimes seem needlessly filled with complicated processes, not focused on customers but what is easiest for the business? Do you do things the same way ‘because we always have’? Lean Six Sigma (LSS) is a recognized approach to improve business processes, reduce time and costs, handle change and reduce complexity. In Rochester, a number of companies use this method of process simplification including Paychex, Carestream, Wegmans, and hundreds of others—large and small, profit or not-for-profit. Lean Six Sigma is also a great addition to a professional resume and a path to greater earnings and promotions. We will cover a general introduction to this approach and you will have tools to use immediately! Bring a process that you want to change and we will discuss it. Then, you can decide if you want to learn more and move on to your LSS Yellow Belt. You will never look at the world in the same way again! You will receive a certificate at the end of class.
