The camp runs from June 27, 2016 to Aug 5, 2016.
Each Learn to Sail and Learn to Race Session run for a full two-weeks from 9:30am - 4:00pm Monday to Friday. The camp director and counselors evaluate the campers and place them in the most age and skill appropriate programs at the beginning of each session.
We also offer half-day sessions designed for campers 8-10 years old that are very new to water activities and need some time to get acclimated to the waterfront and program. Our ½ day sessions are offered on a weekly basis from 9:30am – 12:30pm.
Our goal is for each camper is to know how to confidently rig a boat, sail, and return to the dock. They will learn parts of the boat, sail trim, steering, capsize recovery procedures, and more, all with a focus on fun and safety. Beginner, intermediate, and advanced sailors are all welcome in all sessions.
