Avian Adventures

Are you ready for an avian adventure? Bring a pair of binoculars, or borrow a pair of ours, and hit the trails.

From 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. independently hike around the Nature Center looking, and listening, for the many species of birds that call the meadows and forests home. Use binoculars to observe our active bird feeders, learn about birds calls with our collection of realistic bird buddies, or play in a bin of seeds! If you would like an added adventure, for an additional fee you can join one of our naturalists for a Trip to Tree Swallow Hollow to look for nesting tree swallows and other birds at 1:00 p.m.
