Diamond in the Rough

Oh look how they sparkle! Gather your magnifying glasses, hammers, buckets and dusting brushes and get ready for the adventure that awaits you. Spend your time at camp learning the art of mining for gem stones. How did our early settlers do it? You can find out all of this and more as you take a trip to the Herkimer Diamond Mines where you will mine for your very own “diamond” (crystal formations). Once you have found your precious gemstone create your very own piece of jewelry or keepsake to take home and show to family and friends. All of the other great activities of camp are also included.
Fee: $330 per person
