Kids get to journey into the woods and tap an actual maple tree. This is followed by boiling sap and making maple candy in the sugar shack in Victor

Saturday, March 4th and Sunday, March 5th 11am - Noon Each Day

Ages: 4 - 13 (all welcome but tapping is difficult under age 4)

                      Charge:  Free!!!!

Description: Adopt a maple tree for free.  Your child(ren) will go to the woods and tap an actual maple tree.  I will explain how to identify a maple tree and how the sap moves from the ground to the limbs during the early spring.  We will then return to the shack to boil syrup and  get to sample syrup and candy.  

  • Parents will need to be present to drive their children to the woods and back to the shack.

  • Class limited to the first 25 each day
