Owl Moon

A perfect wintry celebration of the majestic owl! Gather your family and friends for a wintertime night hike under the full moon in February and experience the outdoors as owls do! Warm your toes by one of our outdoor fire pits as you enjoy a reading of Owl Moon, written by Jane Yolen.

Warm up with a hot drink, grab some snacks, or a pint of our own museum’s brews at the cash bar in the Meeting Center (food service from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m.). Shop specialty owl items in the Flint Hill Store from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. This event will take place in snow or rain. Dress for cold weather and wear good walking shoes!
