WXXI invites you and your family to its 50th Anniversary Open House on Saturday, September 24 from 10 a.m. to 3p.m. Rochester's public media station will open its doors at 280 State Street for a day of fun and discovery. The event is free and open to the public (with free parking in the parking lot directly across from the station).
PBS Kids’ characters including Nature Cat, Clifford, and Peg + Cat will welcome guests of all ages. Guests will also have a chance to meet WXXI radio and TV hosts, talk with the program director about PBS’s upcoming fall season, walk the sets of Homework Hotline and Need to Know, see Open Tunings’ host Scott Regan produce his Saturday morning show, and learn more about WXXI and the Little Theatre.
