Saturday Snowshoeing at HNC!

Offered from 1:00 - 3:00 pm on Saturdays throughout December, January and February (except 12/24/ & 1/14). Cost is $5.00 per person for the rental. Children under 12 years and nature center member's cost pay only $3.00 per person. Maximum charge per family is $15.00! The fee includes the snowshoe rental, basic instructions and a cup of hot chocolate to warm up afterward.
How to find us: 154 Pinegrove Avenue (off St. Paul Blvd. in the Town of Irondequoit) Park in the large parking lot on Pinegrove Ave. and follow the sidewalk to the rear of the building to the classroom area. Check in and pick up your snowshoes, and then explore the nature center fields and trails on your own or with family & friends!
This is a walk-in program and no reservations are necessary. Snowshoeing is weather dependent and requires an adequate snow base on the trails. We recommend that you call the nature center during the week (or check our Facebook page) to verify that the weekend weather conditions will be appropriate for snowshoeing.
