November 16 – January 5, 2025: 40 minutes / For all ages: The Planetarium's family holiday spectacular returns as our new state-of-the-art laser system and full-dome visualization system combine to create a more colorful and immersive experience than ever before. This show features your favorite holiday songs played back-to-back, from Mariah Carey to Mannheim Steamroller, choreographed with dancing laser light among the stars of the Planetarium sky.

The Eastman New Jazz Ensemble, led by Dave Rivello, concludes the semester’s big band performances at Eastman. Friday, December 6 at 7:30 PM in Kilbourn Hall. Admission is free and open to the public. Recommended for ages 6 and above.

Max the Dog narrates as the mean and scheming Grinch, whose heart is “two sizes too small,” decides to steal Christmas away from the Holiday loving Whos. Magnificent sets and costumes inspired by Dr. Seuss’ original illustrations help transport audiences to the whimsical world of Whoville and helps remind us of the true meaning of the holiday season. The George Eastman Museum is delighted to announce the forthcoming exhibition, Scene at Eastman, which will open through April 20, 2025. The exhibition will comprise a set of photographs and sculptures made in aluminum, glass, concrete, paper, tin, and other materials. The photographs and sculptures in Scene at Eastman (“the works”) describe various acts and instances of apprehension, of address, of attendance to the presence of others. Some objects are original, others appropriated. The viewer’s own private practice of looking is solicited by the works. Viewers are alerted to the presence of cameras within the exhibition space: to enter the galleries is to be observed.

You'll be in awe of the amazing tabletop trees decorated by local businesses and organizations. These beautiful, and occasionally whimsical trees complement the beautiful holiday decor throughout the historic mansion. All of the trees are available in an online silent auction.
